                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED EAST OF ALTON PARK BOULEVARD AND NORTH
                   OF EAST 33RD STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located east of Alton Park Boulevard and 

         north of East 33rd Street, more particularly described herein, 
and
         as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by 
refer-
         ence:
               
                An unopened 12 foot alleyway dividing lots 2-10
                from lots 12-18, block 21-A of the Rustville,
                Chattanooga Land Company, beginning at the railroad
                right-of-way parallel with East 33rd Street and
                going some 338 feet to the eastern right-of-way of
                the railroad as located within property described
                in deed book 2293, page 393, ROHC and referenced by
                the attached map.  Tax Map 155K-E-005.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
